Bishop Duca Announces Additional Clergy Appointments

In addition to the clergy and pastoral assignments communicated on 12 May 2023, Bishop Duca makes the following announcements, also effective 01 July 2023:
 
Father Cayet Mangiaracina, OP, currently Parochial Vicar of Holy Ghost in Hammond, will provide limited service to the faithful of Holy Ghost while remaining in residence at the Dominican House in Hammond.  Father Mangiaracina will continue to make hospital calls, visit the infirm, and assist with liturgies as available.  The Diocese of Baton Rouge and Bishop Duca thanks Father Cayet for his many years of service to the people of our local Church! 
 
Father Mariano D. Veliz, OP, currently Parochial Vicar of Holy Rosary in Houston, Texas, is appointed Parochial Vicar of Holy Ghost in Hammond.
