In Memoriam: Deacon Mike Agnello

It is with great sadness that the Diocese of Baton Rouge reports the death of Deacon Mike Agnello.  Ordained in 2002, Deacon Agnello served, before retirement, as Deacon Assistant at St. Helena in Amite, and most recently as Deacon Assistant at St. Joseph in Ponchatoula. 

Funeral arrangements for Deacon Mike Agnello are as follows:

Visitation will be at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite on Wednesday, 03 April 2024 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM with a Vigil Service at 6:00PM.

Visitation will resume at McKneely Funeral Home on Thursday, 04 April 2024 from 8:30AM until 10:30AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at Mater Dolorosa Church in Independence at 11:00AM; Fr. Reuben Dykes will preside.  Interment will be at the Colonial Mausoleum in Independence.
