The youth of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Baton Rouge played a large part in the church's observance of Holy Week. During the Easter Vigil Mass St. Paul Pastor Father Arockiam Arockiam urged the congregation to go into the tomb, like Jesus, with the things in life that take away the life within them. He further encouraged them to accept their own darkness, weaknesses and problems and give them to the Lord so he can bring them out of the darkness and into the light with a renewed spirit of love, joy and peace that only Christ can provide.
