Converging Roads Conference

A Converging Roads Conference, “Health Care at the Service of Human Dignity,” sponsored by the Diocese of Baton Rouge and the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 9:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m., in person at the Bishop Robert E. Tracy Center, 1800 S. Acadian Thwy., Baton Rouge and online. Presentations include Vocation of the Health Care Professional; The Ethical and Religious Directives on the Beginning of Life; Dignity and Disability in Medicine; Affirming the Dignity of Women in Medicine; A Catholic Response to the Mental Health Crisis; and Navigating Challenging Prenatal Diagnoses.
