FranU Summer Summer Camp for High School Students

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is excited to again host the HOSA Nursing Summer Camp, a unique opportunity for high school students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. 
The camp will take place on July 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the university campus on Brittany Drive.

This immersive experience will provide participants with hands-on activities, workshops, and insights into the nursing profession, guided by experienced faculty and healthcare professionals. Participants will discuss what nursing is, learning about the different career paths in nursing. They will also learn about HIPAA and codes of ethics, PPE, proper needle selection and needle safety, and assess how to complete one.
