he following Juneteenth celebrations will be held in the Diocese of Baton Rouge: Juneteenth Mass for racial healing and transformation, Saturday, June 18, 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 1565 Curtis St., Baton Rouge. This will be followed by community celebrations at Gus Young BREC Park and downtown Baton Rouge, noon – 4 p.m.; people are being asked to place a lighted candle in front of their door from 8-9 p.m. The events will conclude on Sunday, June 19, with a Corpus Christi adoration at ICC, noon – 4 p.m.; prayer service for racial healing, 1 p.m.; rosary for peace and justice, 2 p.m.; and Stations of the Cross for racial healing 3 p.m., followed by a benediction 4 p.m.
