Santangelo's St. Joseph Altar

A St. Joseph Altar honoring Father Mark Beard, deceased, will be held Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 at the home of Johnnie and Cheryl Santangelo, 12632 W. Blackcat Road, Independence. The schedule will be Saturday: 5:30-7:30 p.m., altar visitation; and Sunday, 10 a.m., Tuppa Tuppa, washing of hands and presentation of scapulars; 10:15 a.m., honoring of Father Beard and blessing of meal by Deacon Terry Bellon, deacon assistant at St. George Church in Baton Rouge; 10:30 a.m., feeding of saints;  and 11:30 a.m., feeding of the public.
