An inaugural Christmas tree lighting will be held at Thursday, Dec. 1, 6–8 p.m. in the grove between St. Jean Vianney Church and School, 16166 S. Harrells Ferry Road, Baton Rouge. There will be jambalaya plates sold for $5 with proceeds benefitting the students impacted by the violence at Uvalde, Texas.
