Zoom Series: Racial Healing and Transformation

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, 7 p.m., Dr. Shannen Dee Williams, assistant professor of Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, will discuss “Black Catholic Historical Truth Telling: An Essential Practice for Reparative Justice.”

On Wednesday, Feb. 24, 7 p.m., Gloria Purvis will talk about, “What Can the Church Do About Racism?” Sponsors are Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, the Congregation of St. Joseph, Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Building Bridges of the Diocese of Baton Rouge and the Institute of Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University in New Orleans.
