In honor of St. Joseph’s Day, Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Baton Rouge constructed a St. Joseph’s Altar. Students, faculty and staff contributed to the altar. Pastor Father Miles Walsh blessed the altar and everyone in attendance then closed with a prayer. Sacred Heart donated the non-perishable food items to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Pictured is fifth grader Pia Freese (dressed as Saint Lucy) reading a passage from the Bible while Dalton Brockhoeft (dressed as St. Francis of Assisi) and Libby Chenier (dressed as St. Elizabeth) look on.
