Sacred Heart Student Honored

Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Baton Rouge eighth-grader Alex Stewart has been selected as a winner of the St. Joseph’s Academy 1868 Award. She is one of 10 students selected for the award. The SJA 1869 Award provides $1,868 toward tuition in the student’s freshman year at SJA. Selections are based on a 250-word essay about a specific gift the student has a passion for and a recommendation letter submitted on her behalf. The award celebrates the achievements of young women in an area or activity of particular interest to them.
