"Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy Spirit that has been given to us." Romans 5:5
2025 is a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church, and the guiding theme throughout this entire year is hope. We live in a world that often seems to lack hope. In their day-to-day lives, people focus more on the ways they are lacking than their blessings, and their weaknesses more than their strengths. But as we read the Scripture verse for the Jubilee Year (Romans 5:5), we are reminded that hope in the Lord, in that which is eternal, does not disappoint.
If you're looking for a way to feel hopeful in this new year, you came to the right place, because this edition of The Collect is full of hope!
