June 3-4, 2023, Cycle A
Priest: My brothers and sisters, let us pray to God who provides for the needs of all creation and who delights especially in the human race...
Deacon (or other reader if there is no deacon):
- For the Church, may she lead all to the Lord by her imitation of Christ and through the graces of the Spirit, we pray to the Lord...
- For all peoples of the world, who are so loved by God that we are chosen heirs, may we learn to love God and each other, we pray to the Lord...
- For Christians everywhere to share the extraordinary love of the Trinity with those less fortunate or in need of healing, we pray to the Lord…
- For all God’s people who have chosen the vocations of marriage, religious, or ordained life, especially those recently ordained, may their love reflect the divine love of the Holy Trinity, we pray to the Lord…
- That our parish community of (add your parish name), may live as chosen and precious stones, building the kingdom through love and service, we pray to the Lord…
- For all who have died, especially [add deceased names or “parishioners of” (add your parish name)], and for the intentions of this mass [add mass intentions], may they rejoice in the mercy of God and the triumph of Easter, we pray to the Lord...

Liturgical News and Notes:
The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
June 3-4, 2023 – Cycle A
- The Mass texts, including the preface, are found at the end of the PT in the section for solemnities and feast of the Lord.
- Consider offering the sprinkling rite instead of the PA (although any form of the PA may be used instead).
- Sing the Gloria.
- The Creed is prayed.
- An OT collect may be used or adapted to conclude the UP. You might even look at the collects in the MPVN for possible concluding prayers.
- Consider using EP-III and SB #9.
- June is the month of the Sacred Heart.
