James Vu

Growing up, faith was always a part of my family. I went to Mass every Sunday and went to Sunday school. However, priesthood never became a thought for me. It wasn't until high school when I began to grow deeper in my faith. It was there that I started to hear the call. During the summer of my junior year of high school, while I was spending time searching different colleges and looking into different majors, I suddenly one day heard the word "priest" in my head. I freaked out because I had never thought about this before. This did not go away and my senior year was when I realized that I could not escape it anymore and I decided to start the application process and I entered seminary after I graduated high school. It has been a wonderful six years and I have learned a lot and grown much deeper in my love for the Lord.
