Notre Dame Seminary
2nd Theology
St. Agnes, Baton Rouge
I grew up in San Antonio, TX, the second oldest of six kids in a strong Catholic family. In my early teenage years, I grew in my relationship with Jesus Christ through personal prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and the Mass. As my relationship with Jesus grew, so did my desire to be a priest. I also grew in devotion to the liturgy through singing in the choir and altar serving. I loved being close to the altar and seeing the priest, in persona Christi, changing bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. When I was in high school, my family moved to Baton Rouge because of my dad's work. I quickly got to know the many holy priests of this diocese, who inspired me to pursue the diocesan priesthood. In 2014, I was accepted as a seminarian for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
