I was raised in Morganza, La and married a girl that lived across the school yard from me. Stephanie Serio, a cradle Catholic and I, a convert to the faith, ended up settling in Ventress just a few miles away. We have been married for 41 years and are parishioners at St. Mary of False River in New Roads. Our daughters, Alyssa and Meredith are grown and married and make us very proud. Our girls have each blessed us with a grandson; we await twin boys from Alyssa. My work at Louisiana Economic Development has me involved in supporting small business and communities all in an effort to grow the State’s economy; I work for and with a great group of people. A rigorous formation program and my service since ordination reminds me that “love of the other” is at the core of who we are as Catholics and animates everything we do. I am thankful to every person that has invested in me during this journey.
