A native of Baton Rouge, Todd grew up in St. Thomas More Parish, graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School and earned his bachelor's master's and doctorate from LSU. He has been married to the former Mary Fontenot of Baker for 39 years and they have three adult daughters who all graduated from St. Joseph's Academy. Their oldest, Mattie is married to Nico Garza and they have two daughters (Mary Collins, and Campbell) and live in South Texas. Alison is engaged to be married to Billy Cormier in January 2022 and their youngest Camille is in nursing school at LSUA. Todd is Director of Digital Learning and Academic Support at Baton Rouge Community College and enjoys helping people change their lives through education. They live in St. Gabriel and attend St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church. Todd has always been involved in parish ministries and felt God calling him to serve His people. He began to explore the diaconate program and was thrilled to be selected to participate. "God has been so good to my family, I wanted to give back in gratitude. This opportunity has been such a blessing already and I look forward to completing my studies and working in God's church wherever I am needed."
