Holy Priesthood
The best way to discover God's Will is by pursuing a holy life. It's our primary vocation in life to become a saint!
As you begin to pray, reach out to God's people in acts of service, and seek spiritual direction, the particular way in which God is calling you to holiness of life to glorify Him will be revealed.
If you'd like help, please contact our office. You don't have to make the journey alone!
"Compassionate Heart of Jesus, graciously listen to our prayers. Give us generous hearts to respond to your call in our lives. Lift up these courageous men: Albert, Joseph, Huy, Josh, Aeli, Jeremy, Blair, Austin and Isaac, willing to follow after Your Heart as priests. Help parents and teachers to share the faith and to encourage young people to explore religious vocations. Guide all people, Lord, in your ways of compassion, truth and peace, that we may find happiness in fulfilling our vocation. Amen"
The Diocesan Vocations Office coordinates efforts of recruitment and formation of diocesan priests, and in cooperation with religious superiors, members of institutes of consecrated life (religious sisters, priests and brothers). By working with clergy and laity in the promotion of priestly and religious vocations, and by collaboration with seminary officials and formation directors, the Vocations Office seeks to provide dedicated and competent leaders for the Church.
